Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) currently occupies a privileged site where the M-30 motorway meets Avenida de América, a strategic location in Madrid. Gamesa has relied on Dynamobel several times over our history. On this occasion, the company turned to us to adapt the site’s layout and furniture to its new office standard.
The new guidelines defined for the whole world by the company’s Real Estate Department embody new needs arising from a fresh vision of the workspace. The most important of these can be listed as:
Following initial implementation at the company’s Zamudio offices and confirming the success of the new workspaces, Dynamobel responded to the requirements of SGRE Real Estate with a tender for furniture and its subsequent installation which went one step further by incorporating a closed-space solution for meetings based on EVA booths and rooms.
The versatility of this programme in terms of sizes and internal furnishing possibilities provides multiple solutions for one person (EVA Booth), four people (2×2 EVA Room) and six people (3×3 EVA Room); creating in the EVA rooms two different kinds of meeting spaces, one with high tables and the other with normal-height tables.
A layout for the Madrid headquarters was designed based on these needs. The furniture and meeting-space solutions needed to be portable in case the lease on the building is not renewed in the future.
The role played by the EVA booths and rooms is fundamental to the distribution of spaces, creating meeting spaces and places where users can concentrate in open-plan work and floor-access areas. The EVA programme brings dynamism, connectivity and flexibility to office workspaces, all with a pleasant, warm feel and great attention to detail.
