Two concepts define the Dis design: harmony in terms of outline and lightness of structure. Lightweight planes and translucent surfaces combine to produce a chair with a marked character.
We were determined that the project should effectively respond to its mission as an office and conference-room chair through the discrete integration of all the components, particularly the complex set of mechanisms which make it so ergonomic.
The sobriety of its lines, its forthright rectangular design, the purity of its style, its minimalism in terms of form and elegant finishes make for a “classic” model. The aesthetic dominates the model as a whole and the pragmatism of its angles aims at a high degree of comfort.
At a functional level, the absence of mechanisms is clear, save the height adjustment and automatic return swivel systems, which, being fully integrated, go unnoticed.
