Construcía is a project development and implementation company specialising in “C2C circular construction”. It promotes and lead the change of construction model with a marked focus on certified environmental sustainability.
It applied all its methodology and work systems, such as “Learn Construction, Material Passport and Cradle to Cradle” at its own offices to create an exemplary site to serve as a benchmark in the industry. Quality that comes from within the organisation out to project the company’s philosophy.
At the forefront of the project was Marta Badia Torrents, founding architect of Blossom Barcelona, an architecture studio which is committed to new technologies and environmental control in its designs, fully in line with those of Construcía.
Dynamobel is present throughout the company’s facility with pieces of furniture that fit perfectly in with “C2C Cradle to Cradle” design and requirements. For us, it is essential to live up to the demands of projects like this and partners like Construcía and Blossom. All with the will to take the features of our furniture ranges beyond market standards.
The result is offices that ooze environmental and corporate responsibility, and comfort at work. In this way, Dynamobel aligns itself with groundbreaking companies like Construcía and Blossom, placing our commitment to our closest surroundings and our planet at the forefront of our activity, all with certification to back us up, without sacrificing design.
The Construcía group’s new offices in Barcelona occupy the same site as the old ones but apply a work methodology which embraces the open office and hot desks, providing collaborative work spaces, personal locker areas, informal areas, meeting rooms and individual offices.
Right at the entrance, there is a reception area with informal meeting places where wood and greenery abound, bringing us into immediate contact with the company’s environmental philosophy.
To comply with C2C, they reused some of the elements from the old offices and adapted others to meet their circularity requirements through the use of “Cradle to Cradle” materials. Other noteworthy features include the thermal, light and acoustic comfort of the offices, the energy and water consumption control systems employed and the optimal indoor air quality throughout.
Not to mention the more-than-40% improvement in energy demand and collaboration with CoCircular, a waste management tool to ensure traceability.
